The following features make for a decently robust collaboration/meeting platform
- Start a live broadcast on Google+ (many more people can now watch)
- Share your desktop in a Hangout
- Collaborate on Google Docs live, in real time
- Scribble notes with each other in Hangouts
All very interesting stuff, which I will have to try out in the next few weeks as an alternative to Skype, which doens’t let multiple people share a desktop unless they’re on a mac (or some weird limitation like that) or to WebEx, or to Global Crossing’s live meet thing, or even iMeet from PGI (which is pretty cool.)
Hangouts is free. Hard to argue with free.
